This individual will be part of
a team responsible for the design, installation, and support of network
security infrastructure: DNS, DHCP, Firewalls/VPNs, Proxies, Load Balancers and
associated systems. The candidate will work within a team that is
responsible for designing, installing, and operating these technologies.

Technical Requirements:
•
Must have strong experience of the following firewall platforms:
o
Checkpoint
o
Juniper
o
Cisco PIX
•
Must have strong experience of IPSEC VPNs
o
Nortel
o
Cisco
•
Experience in Load balancing environment
o
F5 BigIP BIG PLUS (NOT REQUIRED)
•
Experience in Proxy environment
o
Bluecoat
•
Experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies
o
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP including NAT and Routing
•
Experience with the following DNS platforms is a plus
o
Bind
o
QIP
o
Infoblox BIG PLUS
o
MS-DNS (a plus)
•
UNIX: SUN Solaris, Linux, BSD, Shell/Perl
scripting is a plus
Additional Technical Skills:
•
Knowledge of Network-based IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning/pen testing tools,
host-based security controls
•
Experience with DOS and DDOS attack mitigation
•
Working knowledge of MS Windows
Education, Certifications and
Experience:
•
Must have a minimum of 5 years Network Security experience
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science is a plus

CISSP, Cisco
CCNP/CCDP, or Checkpoint CCSE are a plus
