Principal OSX Engineer

Job Title: Principal OSX Engineer

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: Fulltime/Permanent

This position is key to developing OSX products and will work closely with the engineering and design department to create beautiful yet simple to use products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Develop applications and code for products for the Mac OSX environment

·         Use iterative development practices to demonstrate functionality early and often

·         Troubleshoot and debut software to determine causes of errors and deciding what to do about them

·         Implement features that integrate with various software layers, including data synchronization components, embedded server pieces, authentication and authorization components, notification and alerting components, and updating capabilities

·         Recommend process improvements and provide innovative input to design and engineering team (please show proof of this on resume)

·         Document interfaces for the benefit of other teams

·         Code and successfully perform unit and integration testing of software to ensure proper and efficient execution as well as compliance to the business and technical requirements.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

·         7-10 years work experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar field

·         Expert level analytical and OSX skills

·         Familiar with Mac/iPad Application development process- proof of development is required

·         Strong knowledge in Object C, Cocoa, Core OS and Core services

·         OSX low level programming experience

·         Familiar with Apple Mac user experience guidelines

·         Having sample applications for view is a HUGE plus for candidates!
