Database Analyst/Programmer

Job Title: Database Analyst/Programmer

Location: Scranton PA

Duration: Full-time

Required Skills:

·         Experience with MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 preferred.

·         Technical knowledge of MS SQL Server internals with emphasis on query performance.

·         Expertise in C# scripting focused on data manipulation and transformation.

·         Experience in designing and creating complex SSIS based programs is a Plus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Create and debug stored procedures in cooperation with application developers.

·         Enforce and support HarperCollins published data promotion standards.

·         Create and debug views and SQL functions to support data and application access.

·         Adhere to corporate ethics policies with regards to confidentiality of information.

·         Contribute to departmental performance by completing other related duties as assigned.
